About the Open Doors Program
The Open Doors program is an initiative of the Russian Government that provides fully funded scholarships for international students in master's and doctoral programs. Afghan students can participate in this program through an online olympiad.
Eligibility Requirements
- Citizenship: Citizens of all countries, including Afghanistan
- Academic Performance: Excellent academic performance (usually top 10% of the class)
- Degree: Bachelor's degree for Master's
- Language Proficiency: Russian or English (depending on the program)
- Olympiad Participation: Successful completion of the online olympiad
- Commitment: Return to the country of origin after studies (not mandatory)
Scholarship Benefits
- Full Tuition Coverage: Payment of all academic fees
- Monthly Stipend: Up to 15,000 RUB per month
- Accommodation: Free housing
